THANK YOU.
I'm always looking for an excuse to add a new one.  I'm curently on the prowl for a '98 RS.
That was my very first Swisstool.  I still have it (well sort of)  it's not in the collection because my wife has it at her school for fixing what her 6th graders destroy.
Kids can excell in destruction.  :tu:

Like the Eickhorn PRT-II THW, is this one that can be purchased by an individual?   SwissTools might be way past my "in-budget for collection knife", but I'd love to have this one.

Don't know. I've never seen this variant before. Would be a good companion to the XLT...

It's awesome to see a almost 10 year old thread still going.  My ST is getting a lot of carry time this year and going into next.

Swisstools and Spirits rock.

Got my Spirit 4 years ago and it's still solid.

Used the strap cutter blade on my RS to rescue a little boy tonight, who happened to get the seatbelt around his neck.  That blade cut that belt like a knife through butter.  I don't think I've ever seen more impressed people when it came to a multi tool!  I've carried this beauty for a long while on duty, and it gets used mainly for cutting open dinner with the regular blade, or measuring brake rod travel on trucks.  Occasionally, I'll use it to fix a disabled truck's worn air line.  Tonight it finally occurred when I was glad I was the guy packing an MT.

 :hatsoff: to you SIR BR.
I've always felt that blade is an awesome design for it's intended purpose.  I've only had to use it on rope and ratchet straps.  I'm honored to know someone who has actually used it as intended, but glad to have never had occasion to do so myself.
Well Done Sir and again  :hatsoff:.

Years ago I was collecting Leatherman's, I had some waves, sidekicks/rev, sideclips (still have two new, including one NIB), a flair, various others...
But when I got a Swisstool, my first impression was just wow, it looked so sturdy ! Sadly, the model I got had crooked handles, and it was really bothering me. So I asked amazon for a return, and the second one was even worse !  :twak:
Being low on cash, I ended up sending them both back. But I kinda miss them, one day I will get one, for sure !  :multi:

Y'all have lovely tools ! Keep on making me drool  :dd:

I agree Lemonizer!  I carry an RS for work, and love how it feels in the hand.  It's built like a tank, but is so smooth and elegant.
