Been a busy day, picked up some interesting stuff this morning inc
A really cool little (Girl) Guides knife
A petrol stove I think  :think:, came in a box decorated with scout wraping paper  :)

Are there any marking you can see Sparky? I'm not really well versed in those old brass burny things, but there it a UK based forum that has loads of gallery photos and information - Spiritburner - I think it would be a paraffin burner, though Meths can be used to prime it.

There is also a UK based source for parts - Fettlebox

By the blueness around the preheater it looks like T has already tried.
I have a portuguese Hippolite that i picked up with a primus blowlamp. Very similar look. Been meaning to get it running so i can flog it for a better price on ebay. (still haven't changed the seals on the primus either, i really want to braze old school)

I have been through a few of those wire wheels  ::)  they do start shedding after a while  :)

I do seem to have a lot of vinegaroon floating about  :D

Yep the Hatchet hammer is a cute little thing, probably be OK for making tent pegs and the like  :tu:

Had an early start and picked up a few good bits today  :)

1942 Air Ministry hand vice
3 'ok' folders and 5 nice knives
1 Waiter
2 Taylors Eye Witness knives
1 Pruner (can't read but prob Sheffield)
1 Spear & Jackson made in Sheffield (surprisingly nice)

And another slasher  :D

The spear and jackson is a nice ag knife.  Pruner blade and saw.

There were lots of rusty tools etc., but I have new tools to use.
