Get myself a brand new Wenger SI (no date stamp sadly).
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

That's a new one; I didn't even realize they did serrated small blades. ::o

I unwrapped this one on Sunday.  Some of you might recognize it.  ;)

Thanks Rick for offering up this great knife to support Felinevet.

... And because Rick just does not know when to quit; I have this baby, a 1970 Soldier. It needed a little work, but now it's ready for action.

I finally got a new SAK several months after my last SAK purchase.

It's a Parachutist.

My Parachutist beside my GAK. The only difference in implements between the two is the serrated belt/rope cutter blade.  The GAK has a saw instead of the belt cutter blade.

..."It's a Parachutist."

Not exactly... that would be a One-Handed Parachutist :)

Looks very nice!

Being in the 82nd Airborne Division, that parachutist SAK has a flaw: the curved, seat belt cutter blade needs to be one hand opening.  I know the main blade is serrated and OHO, however, if you are hung-up in a tree, or a church steeple (ala Red Buttons in the movie "The Longest Day"), or even worse, hung-up and being dragged by the plane after you exited the aircraft, a OHO rescue blade is a necessity to cut your risers or 550 cord to free yourself.  It would not be practical to try to use your fingernail to open that blade in a self emergency situation.

**Nice Hunter with the different print.  The Hunter is a really useful knife, i like it.

Last week I got my first Modeler, this week I got my second.  Now I'm set.  Funny how it can take a long time to find a particular SAK and then they just start popping up.

The only difference between the two is one appears to be newer as it has the sewing-eye on the reamer, and it has the half-stop on the cap-lifter; both of which are missing on the other.

Where did you get a Modeler???  I have never seen one in person.

One was from sigsal, the other from felinevet.  They didn't pop up very often in the past, but a few people on the forums have them.

Very true. But that's why there is the Dual Pro, and the 2010 DAK :)

They are not very easy to get, no. But I found a guy who had quite a lot of them. I bought 3 DAKs, (1 for Jmora) and I have 1 spare :)
