A bottle opener, a tin opener AND a combi tool. Nice overall tool set. What do you call this one?

She's not too fat. Here it is beside a CT34. This was all the 84 mm tools I had at the time.

I just love all that old cross red Alox. I have no use for a marlin spike but it's not stopping me from wanting one.

The blue familiy (socializing with the other few spikies in this one humble collection) may deserve a front group photo posted as well.

Who doesn't... I think we all here love the old cross red alox.

Why, why had Victorinox to stop producing these beauties...

Or better: why didn't I start to collect them earlier back in the day when they were current production  :pok: - to myself in the past

A mil-tec GAK. Although not strictly a SAK, still looks good in my collection. :twak:

Marius,

You certainly have a nice collection of marlin spike! I think that's the most I've ever seen in one place. I hope you have my name spelled correctly in your will?

Cheers, mate!

I've heard of aa aa lava (that's the sound you make when you walk on it), but not the Ahh Ahh gun & knife show. Where's that, if its not a dark and bloody secret? When I was living back in Virginia most gun shows had a large number of knife dealers, many of whom had a wide variety of new and used SAKs. Here in Colorado there are only a few knife dealers, most of them selling rather indifferent (IMHO) custom knives. Think I've sen a total of one new SAK and a handful of common beaters.

Hi Dave. Indeed they are. By the way, just in the remote case you do not know, Ramblers can be also found in alox (without toothpick and tweezers).

Marius,

Thanks for the info, I didn't know they came in alox too - very cool. The only downside for me though it that I quite like having the tweezers (not as bothered about the toothpick though). But I might keep an eye out for one anyway...
