I received the package yesterday evening and was floorboarded

It also came with a very nice letter and a cool sticker

I can't believe it it was a very awesome.and generous gesture and I thank you for it, Steve

all of those orange s2's sparked a little envy so I found a gen2 cinnabar for $50 on Craigslist.
had to sharpen it to a mirror finish.
It takes its place in the craigslist collection on the left.
Pro 80 +ship (if i recall correctly)
XE6 - off ebay, don't even want to talk about what i paid, entirely by accident (i thought i was bidding dollars, but was bidding euros)

So at the time i bought that orange s2, i actually had another iron in the fire and so I now have 2.  Interestingly the plier heads are slightly different. the newer one has a blunter nose  and coarser teeth, the older one has much finer nose and teeth

Yeah the rain has been terrible a lot of people have now been flooded out 4 times in 2 years, it’s really sad

At least this time the government has stopped going on about them being 1 in 100 year events…

not many on CL, a couple in the west, like Oregon/Washington area and that's about it. There was an s2 a little scratched up in Colorado for $30 but it is gone now.
There are a couple of other deals out there tho, 2 raptors for $50 total i think, a supertool 200 for $20 (a bit of tip missing off one side of the plier) a few waves for $25
but otherwise not much. Someone in NM trying to get a benji for a minitool down from $150.  comes with original box, and paperwork. So maybe a deal if you like that sort of stuff.

I blame greedy councils.  They released a lot of land for housing that was in an obvious flood plain because they wanted the increased rates they get for housing.  The developers then get on board because flat land is cheaper & quicker to build on = greater profits. 

The final decision though is always with the prospective buyer - I chose an elevated block to build my house on because I wanted to be absolutely certain I would never be flooded out by a rising river or creek.
