Had my SC2 out and snapped some photos.  I only own the one Juice and I have to say I am very happy that it's this one.  Great balance between size and function.
:like: this SC2 :tu:
I'll be looking for it more than the Pro or XE6 probably

I discovered the date code on Juices last night :o
Why didn't you tell me they were there? :dunno:

The colored handle( scale) as they were called. were tightly tone matched first month or so of assembly. Mine is dated 0401.. if you have perfectly matched scale color then you have an earlier model whether it be green, blue ect. Too much time and eye strain was taken to tone match so we just put them together. Too tight or loose on the rivet machine( also tensioned components). Had to hand grind rivet- pop out with a pin tap while keeping the components in place- replace scale- repin rivet and send back to riveter. Until the Riveter was adjusted properly some tools went through the same process three or four times till perfect..

Very interesting TA, 0401 would have to be a very early example wouldn’t it?

Here’s one of my CS4’s which to me looks pretty closely matched on the front and slightly less so on the back, dated 0901

Yes, apparently, the date 0401 is the earliest for serial Juices. And majority (but I am sure that all 100%) of these are so-called "double-spring" (with two back springs for flat screwdrivers) Juices.
