Also had acquired via Steve a dark grey-black SC2..

Dark grey-black SC2? :o Photo please!
Maybe you meant С2?

That happens when SC2 is also on the list...so it gets the long search now! ;)

Been carrying my S2 since I replaced it and it's working out great. Can't believe I sold all my Juices off a while back.

Did you have a Kf4 back then?  It's my favorite, although the S2 is pretty sweet too :tu:

Yeah, once I discovered its existence and the fact that it had been retired, I immediately wanted one.  It seems they are difficult to hunt down, and I assumed it would be quite a while before I'd ever have the chance to get one.  Fortunately, I stumbled across a member here who was selling a couple of them.  Using my cuteness ::) to convince the wife, I was able to get one as an early Father's Day gift.  I figured they would go quickly, so I felt I had to jump on the chance to get one, especially in barely used condition.  The only thing I would change about it is replacing the saw with scissors, but regardless of that, it's still my favorite Juice.

Thanks for the heads up, but I don't have any money to spend on one. That's more the reason I was talking about. Thanks for teasing me though.  :)

I hear that.  I love to torture myself by browsing ebay and EDC Source occasionally, knowing full well that I can't really get anything I would want ::)

Hah, no they were the only matching sets I had. I am still waiting on my 3D printed scales/backspring rests to come in.

Nice ones Metro.  I'm loving that Kf4 with scissors :tu:
That's why I don't really have any interest in a Kf4, as much as everyone raves about them...  no scissors.  They're an essential implement for me in an EDC tool.

I've bounced back and forth on the necessity of scissors in my EDC, but I remedied that with a Micra.  I carry multiple MTs/SAKs anyway usually, so one way or another I've usually got scissors.  If I don't, a sharp knife, or even the wire cutters (especially the Rebar's) can usually handle most scissor tasks I come across.

I was so excited when I cracked the juicei code and was able to swap the saw for the scissors. Very useful indeed.

Damn! I know now that SAKs but pics like  this  tell me that  I could afford just one demonstration Juice since others have a whole regiment of Juices.

Picked up my first Juice..an XE6, plus 2 Micra's yesterday..on special sale..$20 for the Juice, $10 each for the Micras, $40 for the lot. Not a bad deal for here Down Under. Leatherman stuff is pretty pricey here, unfortunately :( Originally, the Micra's were ticketed at $69.99 ea , the Juice. if I recall was around $90 odd :(

Just got me 2end juice S2. One thing i noticed right away is the ones that have "Leatherman" on one side, and "J U I C E S2" on the other seem to have lower fit-and-finish than the "Leatherman Juice S2"(all on one side) one. When closed, the scales arnt as close together, and the lip/nail notch of the can opener does not feel like it was bent as precisely.

Or maybe I just got a bad one.

I don't think my Juice (with all words on one side) closes that tightly.
