Great pics,  Farmer :salute: :like: Congrats on getting the Pro 8) the biggest Juice that was ever made, beats the Xe6 by at least one implement, I believe :woohoo: :like:

I've carried mine in a pocket, but I agree that it's better suited to a sheath. Now I just need to get hold of a sheath for it...

I can't remember if I replied to this thread already and I'm too lazy to look it up ::)

I currently only own an S2 - it's about the perfect combination of tools for me. The can opener sucks, but it's better than nothing. I had a Juice Pro but sold it to a guy at work who fell in love with it. I think it stinks that LM discontinued the series; they were great pocket tools!

Couldn’t agree more. S2 is my carry to work for years. In an office environment it is dainty and elegant when pulled out and at least two others bought one after seeing mine.

:iagree: there was so much untapped potential for the Juice series :ahhh SAK sized nearly and still have a decent set of pliers  they were around many years but I don't feel like they ever pushed that series like some of there other tools :dunno:

:iagree: Profit margins on the various flavors of Juice were probably smaller than on the larger tools. Still, I'd like to see the Juice make a comeback. At least there are plenty of them on the secondary market.

As much as I like the size and tools of the juice S2 (we have 4 of them at home), I just hate the blade.
I'd love the juice with some kind real blade

The older models had a more decent blade but it know what you mean :salute: a SAK being much smaller has a bigger and more decent shape to its blade (on a 91mm model I mean  ) the handle of a Juice is smaller than the handle of a 91 though, so other than shape there isn't a lot theybcoupd have done different maybe

They could at least make it full flat grind and/or try to get a Wharncliffe/sheepfoot instead of "odd"
Or even serrations compensate the poor steel/grind

the juice was a competitor for the SAKs so the blades are sort of like a SAK blade, The back of the blade follows the handle contour and the front is fairly flat with a little upturn on the end for the first gen.
The second gen was clipped in size for the possibility of carry on  and airplane, with that getting nipped in 2013 or so. but the blades had to have a 1/2" ground off so they are  wierdly shaped at the point.

I get the point, my real issue is : WHY so thick? a simple flat grind + distal taper would have been wonderful to compete against SAKs.
Either make a good blade, or just don't.. that's a really sad part of that line up imho.
Regardless, they have excellent scissors so I always take my S2 when I don't want to bother with a Wave or Swisstool Spirit's weight.

Thanks guys :tu: loving the Pro particularly

Here’s the family :D

B2, 2 x CS3, C2, S2, SC2, 2 x CS4, KF4, XE6,  Pro

Wanted one of each model in the original style, don’t need every colour, would add an SX if I ever saw one at a reasonable price but not sure I’ve even seen one for sale.

My first CS4 (in the foreground of first pic) I’ve had 20 years (dated 0901) and is what I take with me when I travel. Non-locking and lightweight with perfect balance of tools, makes it great for travel

I don’t see much mention of the CS3 but IMO it’s a perfect addition to an EDC knife to give you scissors and openers

:tu:
