Lately since they've been cross-polinated with Vic I'm liking some of the combos - I've always liked Wenger's scissors and Vic's can opener. Now I can have them together on the same tool!

I'm really liking my new to me Handyman.  It carries like a dream, especially for a 4 layer.  The blade is razor sharp, and the scissors are a dream!  It's been in my pocket since I cleaned it up, and I think we're going on many an adventure together :D

Using my Rangerclip 78 for pruning some plum and pear trees today. Got a bigger saw for some of the branches, but for a lot of them the Ranger saw was just right.

Wenger Swiss Sportsman
http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Wenger+Swiss+Sportsman

A 2 D Phillips driver replaces the small clip blade and a "L.L. Bean" imprint is barely visible on the scale. It has a 5 turn corkscrew and the cap lifter/ slotted screwdriver doesn't have the locking feature.

Turns out what I thought was an 85mm is more like a 75mm SAK after comparing it to my other models.

With a lot of help from SAKGuy, a Wenger Flyfisherman destined for my son, a flyfisherman!  It's seen some use, but cleaned up nicely.  Now I'm on the hunt for one :D

On a different note, how can you be able to narrow down the vintage on a Wenger?  As my collection keeps growing, I'd love to know how much history some of them have lived.   Does Victorinox honor the Wenger warranty now that they are the parent company?

As convoluted as Vic history can be...Wenger is worse.
