That's a nice one Clown!  How do you like the clipper?  I have a cigar from time to time, and was thinking about this knife the last time I had some with some friends.

The operation on the cutter is silky smooth.  Hoping to get a chance to try it on stogie today.  I'll report back with my thoughts. :tu:

Do it!  Have you tried the Vic Alox Cigar knife with the punches?  Think I might try to snag one of those next to try out.

I've always preferred the ergos and looks of Wenger knives, but truth be told, now I only own two Wenger

and lots of Vics.

Dunno why, I must've lost them or gifted them away, but their pliers, scissors and locking blades are much better IMO.

My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

My oldest has a fly tying business.  Here's a pic of the Flyfisherman and my Evo 81 with one of his flies he's tying for a customer.

Took a couple of pics today of two older Wenger (Master Fisherman), and a contemporary Wenger (Evo16). The pics I took show the evolution of the Wenger Scissors over the years.
First off is a pic of a Master Fisherman, the oldest of the 3 knives, which has a Bail and the "dog leg" Can Opener. It has scissors which have a separate single leaf spring. Scissors are screwed and adjustable.
Second pic is also of a Master Fisherman, still a fairly old knife as it still has the "dog leg" Can Opener. Note that the scissors have changed to the modern "integrated spring" version. However, these scissors do not have the serrations along the edges. I have no idea if this knife just missed the serration step in manufacturing, or whether it was a deliberate, planned, phase of production. Scissors are still screwed and adjustable.
Lastly is a pic of a modern Evo16. Now we see the modern integrated-spring scissors, along with pronounced serrations along the scissor blade edges. These scissors are now rivetted together and non-adjustable.
What do I prefer? I like the oldest scissors. They cut better for everything I use them for, and I think they look cool. ;)

Two oldies that I applied the Hobie restoration process to just a few minutes ago.  I can't get over how well they shined up....it's like having brand new Wengers!  My son's Fly Fisherman had a scratched main blade from some slip ups on a stone by a prior owner.  Now that blade shines up like my Highlander!  It's a lot of fun cleaning these guys up and seeing the beauty beneath.  Now for that 85mm Evo.....
