The last few weeks I've been carrying my Rebar a lot more than my ST300, so I guess for EDC, the Rebar wins.  In fact, the Rebar is about the only tool that can make me leave my Spirit at home (which says a lot, because I really like the Spirit).

However ... I find myself reaching for the ST300 time and time again when I need a tool at home  ::).

Anyway, here are the Rebar and ST300 next to each other in some pics  ;).

Yes, I know you like your Spirits....all 27 of them :pok:   Sweet pics by the way buddy :tu:

Thanks for the pics TG24. I had no idea that the ST300 was that much bigger!

Do not take Monrogue's statements too seriously, we're talking about a man who makes a weekly schedule to help decide which tool he's going to carry in the morning ...

I can take no credit for this TBH, I got this from Grant who picked it up from someone else.  I strongly suspect this came from someone who did a Wave mod.

Very nice pic by the way, but now you've made me curious ... what's that "book" underneath your Rebar ?

This was given to my Uncle RM Percival Stanley Smith to prepare for the impending invasion of Japan. He had spent a large amount of time in Burma prior to that. I was lucky enough to be given quite a few of his personal items after he passed away.

My family has a long history of serving in the Royal Navy and the Royal Marines (myself included).

I thought it would make an interesting backdrop.

It also has the notes he took in the briefings penciled into the margins.

Very interesting.  My grandfather fought in the Pacific, and would have been involved in the invasion had  it come to it as well.
