Some great photos, y'awl! :2tu: I agree that the Rebar is a great tool. It's such a great tool that I sent mine to the Czech Republic so a fellow member could try it out. Eventually I'll get another, but in black oxide this time.

As for plain vs. serrated blade sides...maybe pick out the lettering on each side with contrasting colors of paint?

From this, I am guessing that they will probably be the same combos as the Bond now has  Thanks geneva :salute: :like:

I am crossing my fingers in hopes of a Green and Black Oxide one. Similar to the topo Signal. While they are at it, they can do an ST300 as well. One can hope.

While I wait for JonesE's idea come into fruition, I've been working on a mod that I had my eyes on for a while and although nothing new, it is now mine and what a great tool it is now! ; here's my "Rebar M".

I was looking at mine and that dedicated Philips really takes up some space.  I need to pick up a set of the Leatherman wrenches and get modding  :ahhh

Well, in a way not really; it might look as much but, its as wide and thick as the bit exchanger, and thats why I love the early to mid term tools' "modularity"; it can permit such an array of customizations between chassis that it can make up for a uniquely yours tool( I had that bit exchanger in a Rev, and worked great as it used both of the spring bars for tension making it really hard to collapse)!

Which is great for that tool!  The bit Philips reminds me a lot of some of the old Wenger Philips.

That looks very handy with the bit adapter and wave scissors Juan. After you have had a chance to use it a while, it would be good to get your thoughts on how the mod worked out for you.

Well, the Rebar "M" replaced the Wave for around-the-house/impromptu needs, even called in before the Pro Scout or ST300. love its compactness and, besides the diamond sharpener, has the same toolset as the Wave, can leave the blade extended (not that I do that often ...  ), and its pliers head doesn't buckle as easily. It helped today in reassembling my patio bench.

The Rebar is definitely one of the best all around MTs :woohoo: It can hang with the Wave and Charge for sure  :salute: modded, they can potentially beat them out in a lot of aspects except for OHO capabilities  :tu: :like: :like:
