Vacation Window Shopping

I stopped by the kitchen store in an upper end mall when I was on vacation, and they had the entire Shun collection
 

I thought that I was going to get in trouble with the store manager for drooling on the glass cabinet, but instead he offered me a homemade muffin

We had a nice talk about knives over coffee and muffins

I have to get me a Shun.

I don't have one yet But when I get to where I have some spendable income again, I'll be saving up for one then

Damn, I was tired and misread, thought you got one. Yeah they are really expensive, I only have one and got it on a clearance sale.

In the mean time you should check out THIS one at IKEA, it's same material as shun and almost as well made, for the price it's a great deal. I'd have bought one too if the smurfs didn't see fit to charge us 60% more.
