You track a package very closely and make sure you leave work on time to beat your wife home to grab the mail first when it is scheduled to arrive.

You finish an inventory, then decide it needs to be encrypted

So, it does indicate a problem if you buy drawer cabinets and drawer organizers for SAKs and MTs alone? I am shocked! I always thought proper organization was crucial - and suddenly I seem to have a problem!  :ahhh
Kidding. I love it.  :D

BTW: Anybody interested in ametal cabinet with 11 drawers? Cabinet is aboiut 100x50x80 cm and full steel construction, made for storing tools or parts - It lives in my shop but the drawers are too shallow for shop tools.

...you have so many MT's and SAK's that you start arranging them into teams to get you the best compliment of tools for EDC, BOB's, gym bags etc.

...you don't own a firearm but you still had to get a MUT

...you were given a Tinker Small as a gift and you end up with this afterwards because you needed scissors , the sad part of this photo is that Surge, ST300 and OHT were not available for the pic.

That's normal. The real world, outside of the display case, that's a scary and dangerous place- no tool should be forced to face it alone. Always bring a buddy or two. Or three. Or five.

You've been rushing home from work every lunch break for the past 18mths just in case the postman has brought something that may not go down to well with her!!

I have a lightly used (original model, very good condition) CS4 in grey at home. PM me if you're interested.

  • You thought you had finished your collecting
  • You are happy with your collection and it has met its objectives
  • You certainly have all the multitools you need functionally (users)
Then suddenly - and for no apparent reason - you start hitting ebay and various other websites again
For sure I blame MTo and some certain BO Spartans and Campers for at least one of these :o

You may have a multitool problem if you know why you need quotes around "Leatherman" when doing searches on ebay, and still occasionally get something in your search WAY not what you're looking for. :D

This one is probably already in this post - But it seems to be happening a lot to me recently.

In many walks of life, but particularly sitting down at your desk/computer - you have to go and get (sometimes more than one) multitool just to fiddle with whilst you work, browse, watch telly etc etc.

Fortunately my better half has now realised that this is more of a rosary bead kind of a thing - as opposed to an indication that I am a knife wielding maniac.
