knives stolen...

I had a winter b.o.b. in the car and someone stole the whole thing and inside was my Scrap Yard "Dumpster Mutt" and Swamp Rat "Swamp Warden"

 :cry: and a few other things (I have good b.o.b.s)

the b.o.b. is in the car year long and the last time I checked it was a few months ago (like sep/oct) to repack it and check it.
I don't know the exact time frame it happened. I must have left the doors open and some thief just took it easy...

but on a good note I thought I also lost my favorite blade the INFI Scrap Yard SS4 with a beautiful custom leather sheath but we found it, she had it in her things  ::) so I'm a happy camper (count my blessings)

thx guys, I still have a lot of good/quality knives (silver lining) and I can always get more  :tu:

I always thought the worst part of having my car broken into was the feeling of violation.  If I were you I'd want to hunt them down, disconnect one end of their intestine, tie it to my bumper and see if it really is 22 miles long. 

But that's just me. I also feel the same way about door dings....

what's really so surprising (shocking) to me is i live in a small town now, really cool and "safe" I thought, my car was never bothered back in Chicago! :rant:

I know its a longshot Dan but is there any chance you took the bag out and set it down in your garage somewhere? ???

I have a ton of equipment I've pieced together over YEARS... Really good gear, in my car BOB. I would be gut-punched if I lost it.
