Glue came yesterday, frame came today, so I glued it up after fixing one little problem, I went to bed one of the pieces when I was building it and it snapped in half, if you look carefully at my glasses in the last post you can see the white line, so I took a marker since the line is on black, and just made it match, we then dumped this clear glue right on top of the puzzles face side and used a “spreader” which was nothing more then a 4” putty knife and spread it nice and even across it, at first it was all shiny and wet, but then it started to dry but still left a tad of shine, but then I had to break it from the cardboard it was now glued it, that took a little work! Amazingly I didn’t break the puzzle which was now stiff as a board, I then peeled the protective film off both sides of the plastic of the frame and then finessed the puzzle into the frame because it was totally the same size! But after some time it gave up and I got it to fit! So now I have to put the wire on the back so I can hang it in the living room, if I can remember where I left the hooks, I just might have a clue.. but here’s a pic of it all done!

Ok, who’s handling this? We got a shipment and they screwed up on something small so they needed to fix it, so they sent a replacement but we have to send the other back which they are paying for, but who’s handling it? It was sent via FedEx because it had their tracking, it gets deliver by them but in a ups box, now it’s going back in the same ups box via FedEx cause here’s the label, yet it’s printed on ups paper? I’m lost?

And as the Mrs was relaxing, I mounted the wire and rings to the frame, then the hook on the wall which it came with so I didn’t have to go looking for my hanging wear, and then absolutely 100% finished this freaking thing! IM DONE!

I bought 5 of these small wire basket below to put on my tables in my office. So if I have my multi tools, knives and other gear out I can keep them a bit neater. I usually have them in a desk drawer.

I picked up this little friend last night, we had a climbing competition in my local club and I won this (not for climbing but a lottery) and funny thing are that I have been watching these for a couple of years now but never bought one and now I don't have to! Fitted it with a carabiner and have to start using it as soon as I can! A lot of plastic but scary sharp and incredibly light

Only an ounce and a half--pretty impressive!!

I have a similar knife, the Gerber Chameleon, but hate its lock (which is a predecessor to the Axis lock, except it has a long, skinny coil spring instead of the omega spring). Is the Spatha a lockback?

Noit sure if this was a bad idea or not...

Most of the Nerf blasters I had were regular Nerf models aimed at kids. Not very powerful, accuracy somewhere in the range of "can hit the broad side of a barn at 5 feet". The whole "not being powerful" thing was good for indoor marksmanship practice, as there was near zero chance of breaking things.

The Dart Zone Aeon Pro is marketed under Walmart's Adventure Force label and is aimed at teens and adults. I knew these were more accurate and powerful than Nerf, but not how much. I opened it up and tested it, and it's definitely as powerful as an airsoft gun. 125 FPS according to the manufacturer.

I first made the mistake of testing it indoors, figuring it to be as tame as a regular Nerf blaster.  It made a mark in my plastic trash can, and I decided it needed to be tried outdoors. It can  dent a pop can and knock it a fair distance at 20 feet, and is pretty danged accurate. It fires only a single shot at a time, and the slide requires a lot of force to pull back. 12-round magazine, however.

It weights next to nothing but as it is advertised to climbers it does matters. I only sportclimb so for me it doesn't really matter at the moment but trad climbers hav enough gear hanging from the harness so then it does some difference I guess and to answer your question, yes it is a lockback and you can open it with the tumbhole or with the large ring if you have gloves on
