WARNING Large Pics
This is a rescaling job I did with the help of my friends "heavy machinery",aka scroll saw/drill press.

I did it beveled instead of rounded.

back scale

By the way the material I used is polycarbonate.

I just resized the pics for you...  ;) Better do it yourself next time..  :pok: :pok: :pok:

The pictures resize automatically when they're loaded. Not a problem for those of us with fast connections, but if the images take a while to load it looks gigantic because they dont resize until they have loaded completely

Same cell used?  I've thought about doing that but figured it wouldn't be bright enough.  My other idea was to go with a similar size 1.5V cell and cram in a small joule thief circuit.

Hard to tell from pictures but that looks bright enough :tu:

Same cell, it's 3V and the white LED is 3.2. Says 2000mcd (bought at a local store) but I want to get some of these to see if there's a difference:

It's still not bright in any sense, but way better than what it was with the red one, and a veeeeery easy mod

As you say that's got to be better than the red one. :tu:

Wouldn't bother.  I think half of those ratings are pulled out of the air if you know what I mean :)

Barely constitutes a mod, but still:
I have a SwissCard Lite, and I don't carry the knife that is in it. The knife laws around here are dumb enough as is, I don't need to carry around knives I never use. So I decided I'd put something useful in there instead - a folded bit of 400 grit sand paper.

Has anybody seen this yet? It comes from SwissBianco. He is selling them online. Neat idea. Door handles or maybe drawer pulls.
