This my Beast for Home and... errrh who cares... I have it, I like it. :-D It basically contains everything I need. ;-)

It's a new swisschamp with a few mods
- replaced small knife with a 84mm watch opener (i like this tool)
- added Cybertool bit driver
- replaced phillips (oposing the magnifying glas) with a white LED

So it's something between Swisschamp and Swisschamp XLT.

Interesting combo :)

How do you find the LED?

Thx. Found it via ebay. All tools where part of some auctions. (e.g. the swisschamp was mislabeled and very cheap)

So the price of this Monster is more less the same like a normal Swisschamp bought at a store. And "this" is the best part of it, imho. :-)

I like seeing people customize things exactly the way they need them  :tu:

Thx. But without this forum, it would have been much harder, to get such ideas. ;)

HankSolon, can you make more pictures of Watch Case Opener? Open and closed. I wanna see how it looks on 91mm.

Nice job there!  You kept the fishscaler though?  I guess it has value as a ruler, but I never used it.

@Syph: Yeah, I kept it ... having a ruler and a long dull tool. And I read once, you can use it to cut a pumpkin face... ;) But I admit it's been a coinflip to keep it or not.

HankSolon, thanks. It looks better than Combo from 84mm in 91mm. :tu:

I like WCO too, but I don't know what I have to do with that. I don't have watch with this type of case. But... It's good for that.

@DumDum:
Indeed, beside the fact I have an old watch (1930's Savonette), I use it for the same. it's my favorite tool for disassembling SAKs.

Here is my Wenger Alox soldier with German Silver scales, 3 brass liners and a blade lock of my own idea,,,,,,,,,, also a Work in progress Fenix ED01

When the catch is swivelled down,,,,,, a cam presses against the back springs stopping the blade from closing

I think thats another name for nickel silver.

It is quite a unique locking mechanism, very nice design!

Fenix ED01? That's not a production model, is it? LD01 with a custom housing? Love the looks of it. Where did you get it?

Did I say ED01??    I bet that was confusing!

I machined the identity out of the LD01 and then made a couple of brass ends for it.  It's not finished yet!!!!!

Very cool. :tu: I'd love to see a few pics of the "making of" this one in the flashlight sub-forum if you have any more pics of it throughout the stages as well as the finished product when it's done. :salute:

I wish I had taken some pics as the making was fun,,,,, but I can do a before and after so the contrast between standard LD01 and totally screwed up LD01 can easily be seen

This is the first torch that I've modded,,, but it won't be the last, the ideas come thick and fast

German Silver or Nickel Silver is used for coins, musical instruments etc ,, it's an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel.  It's a bit like a silver coloured brass
