I first wanted to photograph from the other side, but that was against the sun and I could not really see anything on the picture.

Megan is part of the group that manages the waterway where I do most of my kayaking.  She has suggested that we log some caches (or whatever the lingo is!  ) this summer so all of this is good inspiration.

Outdoorsy ones are generally not that interesting to find here.. just big ammo or tupperware boxes in cracked rocks or at treeroots.
Explains it a bit.. after 6 hours of hiking and a boucy gps to search for a film canister among hudreds of trees would be a pain. Still really fun ones can be made. Here is some inspiration from the interwebz:

They might be outdoorsy but the canal wad largely man made and took around a century to complete. There are lots of mam made constructs among the way including businesses, locks and buildings, so there's lots of potential housing spots.
