My last post in this topic for the year 2025.

I committed to the TOOL BOX Challenge in December, which means I am going cold turkey and avoiding  MTs and SAKs the entire month.

I love using and toting BO finished LM tools, so DECEMBER will be a real challenge to avoid reaching for tools that have been second nature the past 10 years for me.

These will be tucked away, out of view come Sunday, a chore of itself.

I asked for and received some changes at work after burning out and having to take an unplanned leave from my job. My hours and my responsibilities have not decreased, but I now have more flexibility in how to run everything. I feel better mentally than I have in over two years. Hopefully the changes will stay in place.

There are some great posts for this Black Friday/Black Oxide Friday! :2tu: And Blackie got a long-overdue cleaning. I used about half a smurfload of cotton swabs getting most of the grime out of it. This after it got a soaking in soapy water (which may have removed some of the coating). Of course, fresh oil was applied to all the pivot points. It fits in the MOLLE sheath quite nicely, so I'll carry it for a while. It's nice to strut around with an ST300 on my hip again! :woohoo:

I selected a BLACK mini pipe pliers so I could indulge in BO FRIDAY. Even retrieved my Emerson/Kershaw CQC5, with its black blade. A great knife I did use on the job preparing cables for splice work or end terminations.
