How well would the gut hook work as a seat belt cutter? If it does work that would eliminate yet another tool.
Well...this surely is a fine place for my first post after lurking/reading/learning for some time now: Hi, Everybody! I've worked through two Gerber MP's over the years, recently passing them on down to my two sons who are getting old enough to learn about tool responsibility and knife safety. (some Dad, huh....giving his sons inferior Gerbers instead of shelling out for some new LMs...maybe once they learn how to keep them sharp, and keep their fingers attached to their hands....)So, I'd like to throw my (new) name into the ring on this excellently crafted tool, to fill the hole created by the passing of my Gerbers. I'm a DIY kind of person, who can really appreciate the thought, skill, and dexterity that goes into building up a MT like this. Last year, I broke down my Gerber Clutch to fix it's over-sprung pliers - it took considerable time and patience to get all the pieces back into their correct places. Then, about a month later, the plier spring bent out again....aarrgh!If you need a good home for that awesome, homemade Wave, I'd guaranty it'd live out a happy MT life as my EDC. -Kevin
