Unity Lambfoot. No England in the tang stamp so it was made before the. McKinley Tariff Act of 1890. Still tight and walks and talks.

 :iagree: with both previous contributors.

If that knife could talk! At least it did not sit in a drawer all these years.

And David, I appreciate the comment on my 302 Buck.  It was able to cut hard butter in those pictures.
After stropping and some more touch up, I will not touch the blade edge afraid of blood loss🤪
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Close, but not correct.  A much BIGGER surprise!!!

Neeed to share pictures here when you get a chance!   Saw in the traditional carry thread, and the bolster told me I had guessed incorrectly.

I can honestly say, I have not seen a Backpocket in person, let alone handle one.
What is the model number on the blade.

Thought I already posted pictures here, strange.

The nail nick that is open through the blade is interesting. Makes it easy to open/close and didn’t notice the I sharpened edge on the back of the blade before I got it in hand.

A Blue and Black Moose pattern.

You can only guess who added to the box many many visits before you received.

Good choice 😉

The Moose Pattern is a Trapper with two blades on opposite pivots.

Blue and Black is a handle pattern that Rough Ryder makes, the the Tater Skin, or Black Micarta etc.

Details here, https://www.smkw.com/rough-ryder-black-blue-moose

Here's a couple that I picked up this morning.  A Lockwood Bros and a C. Johnson & Co.  I know of Lockwood but I'm going to go and see what I can find about C. Johnson.  Much cleaning and whatnot in my future.  :D

Found a bit about Christopher Johnson & Co.  Here's an old bit of cinema film from the 1920's showing the C.J & Co factory making various knives. https://www.yfanefa.com/record/10336
