It's been a long few days. Now to get to bed, wake up, and hopefully not have to wait all day long for the kukri & knife to arrive. Also have an
Akubra Plainsman
coming in by post.

It did. Spend like 45 minutes waiting by the highway, the dispatcher said he's be there in 20 minutes. An hour later I call back and say where he can find me if he got lost, they gave him my phone number. A while later the dispatcher said he left it at the office. Argh!
Problem is there's 2 streets that sound similar one ends with an R, the other an N. Two different locations, although nearby. Was starting to wonder if he left at the other housing development.
But it's here. Been sitting next to it for a while, unopened.

KHHI
McCurdy Special
Knife - NOW THAT'S A KNIFE!
They stamped KHHI Nepal on there for me, as a memento to know where the knife came from.

It's big enough. Hahaha
Considering on going camping maybe tomorrow. If I do will take it with me to give it a trial. Both come sharp, but rough sharp. Am going to get the Spyderco Triangle Sharpmaker out and hopefully give the McCurdy hunting knife a smoother edge.

Found the back spine area, just past the cut in grooves, on the Scourge makes for a great tent spike hammer. In turn the Can Opener Cho doubles as a spike removal tool.

Used an old steel sharpening rod to out an edge back on the Scourge. Only needed a few swipes, save the one area that glanced off onto a quartz crystal rock. That took a few more swipes after using 120 grit sandpaper.
Glad I found this steel. Wished was a place to add a steel to the Scourge sheath for
in the field
work.
