Recently selected them to replace the discontinued US-made Kleins. These are fairly light, strong, and made in Italy.

I bought this one used from another collector--but will probably buy both the hawkbill and Wharncliffe versions new from AM Leonard here pretty soon--they're only like $20.

This is the most  "traditional" I can do in the New World sense. Any of my trad carbon steel, curly birch handle, brass bolster puukkos would qualify. But the Buck is a beauty. I used to have a German made knockkoff as a kid.
