I have been carrying the mid-sized BUCK for a while now. Already dropped it a couple of times. Unfortunately. Best wishes. G  [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

A pretty battered '40-64 Loomfixer in Red Bone (naturally Pocket Worn).

The (now-defunct) local knife store (I blame them moving more towards high end tactical folders and fixed blades) used to sell packs of salvageable, but for from mint knives for like $20.  I got this one alongside a Barlow, 47 Stockman (broken backspring, but near mint otherwise), and Remington Daddy Barlow.   I always wanted a Case, and found Rough Ryder's take clunky.

The Case is slim, and still has good snap despite the condition. It was sold as "weak snap", but that was due to a lot of crud.

Carried it alongside a '52 Klein 201-6 (with wire strippers from the factory--can't find them in a catalog) and Western Auto "Golden Rule" 6" tape measure from the same era (was my great-Granddad's--I think it was originally brass-plated--but he carried it so much the brass wore off).

Pencil is a JR Moon Big Dipper--my favorite since kindergarten (and from that original box). They're supposedly still around--they were bought in the early '00s by Mega Brands, and then spun off when the RoseArt brand was re-acquired by its founders.  I think they're still made in TN, but so many other brands have outsourced over the years.

Thanks, David, and some great stuff on show for today! :tu:

I carried this Imperial toothpick and used it to slice up a piece of receipt paper. It retains a pretty good edge.
