Day 27b

I don't want to look like the swat swot who voluntarily does extra Latin, but since so few days are left I probably won't have time to include this evening's sunset anywhere else.
Return of the OH Vignetting Tool!

(Image removed from quote.)

Great picture.  I find it much more difficult to get pictures like that without the OHO blade.

Day 27

There have been late season and out of season hurricanes but you can't leave the shutters up forever. I decided it was time to take the last row of shutters off the front windows and with the Outrider on my belt I didn't have to bring out my dedicated tools.

"Leftover Pie."  I don't understand.  That doesn't make any sense.  I don't think I've ever seen those two words used together like that before.  I think you just made that up. You're confusing me. The room is spinning and I'm feeling light headed, can't catch my breath! :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Day 28

I can't believe we're almost done. I think this challenge has been harder for me than the minimalist challenge.  At least the minimalist SAKs fit in my pocket while the 111mm Outrider is a behemoth that requires a belt pouch. Never liked belt pouches.  I'm looking forward to the Spirit challenge because I'm very comfortable pocket carrying the Spirit in my back pocket.  I will need someone to show me how you guys attach a lanyard to the Spirit though.

Day 29
I found this poor piggy floating in a pond last summer. There had been some hunters gunning around in the forest so I assume this fellow got wounded, fell in and drowned.
After a day or two, when nobody had bothered to fish him out, I got rope and a hook and pulled him to the bank. He lay in the long grass for a few weeks and became a biology lesson for my kid. We'd go by every few days to see hoards of beetles and insects reduce this huge beast to tufts of fur and scattered bones.

Day 29

One more day to go!

You know when you have cats anything not attached to the house is potentially a cat toy, and the chance of anything becoming a cat toy increases exponentially if it has a string attached to it.  This morning I decided to attach a bit of leather thong to my Outrider to make it easier to get out of the sheath.  Elsa was immediately attracted to the new, leather "tail," and she approves of this modification.

I use to hate serrated blade's till this one. Now it's my go to blade 90% of the time.
