You most certainly can use it to open glorious Ovo sport... but it can do more.

Looks to me like the handle pivots open around that one large screw, then closes back up when whatever is inside is lifted out into the slot.

Comb? Razor? Knife? Multiple blades?

This could make the Surges best friend, or it could make the Surge obsolete... your choice.

The sides are held closed by a spring loaded ball.

There is storage space for a T-shank in each half, the longer can be up to 120mm, the shorter 92mm. There is also room for a pin-needle and everything is held in place by magnets.
Both sides slide into each other and close really snuggly.
Pretty great tool, probably not worth the money but since I already have it its great.

The quality seems great. The two halves fit together perfectly and the finish is flawless (ok, maybe not flawless, the color of the screw is painful). Had a lot worse from the big companies.

That's quite clever - so you could have a wood blade and a metal cutting blade stowed at the same time.  :tu:

Ether, you're being a tease- no source for this widget! Come on, don't taunt us addicts like this!

I didn't see a name for the seller- I might have missed it. This capability was the whole reason I bought a Surge.

Where did you get it?

EDIT: Never mind, I found it. I found the price to. As cool as it is, that is more than the jigsaw who's price I can't justify to myself would cost. :(

Told you... too expensive, might as well get a Surge, although the Surge will not have a finish as nice as this.

You can find it here.
It's 120$ for those interested. Way too much, not that I regret the purchase. I like it better than many of my knives and some of them were more expensive.

Beautiful, refined and elegant

But I've been able to make a wide variety of saw blades work, albeit not elegantly, in my Crunch, so I will probably wait on this till my birthday next year  :D

Yeah, I like the minimalistic nature of it.

A word of warning though. Tolerance is so low, the oversized T-Shanks-File from LM does not fit.

What is up with that price?!  :ahhh

But I need this. I was trying to make something similar the other day but failed as the metal I was using was too soft. I want to incorporate a metal saw in my EDC. I found one T-shank one with diamond coating on ebay. You can actually saw a really hard metal by hand with it. Now I just need as small a handle as it is possible to get/make...  :gimme:

Made in Switzerland :D, precise manufacturing and low production numbers.

I was trying to 3D-design/print something similar. Would probably have ended paying more when doing it myself.

Well, I am probably stuck with making my own as I really don't want to spend that amount of money on two pieces of metal. Especially when conglomerations of more useful metal pieces also made ins Switzerland can be had for a much lower price...  :climber:

Yeah, but I if you work in Switzerland your monthly income just might be slightly bigger than mine. That price is about two days of work for me...  :D
