A local shop had 20% off all Buck knives, and they have a Hoodlum that's been sitting in the shelve for 2 years.....
Just don't know, all those failure videos on YT......

I like it a lot....since first sight actually..... ........and last year they were only 10% off......

Dr Z.......

My cousin has one just like that, I know they're supposed to be good knives, but I just don't get a quality feel, especially that guard......?

Just wondering if it's the same as my experience with a Mora Companion where respect for it's durability came after some use?

was not aware of that beauty

I posted this when there was a $15.00 discount coupon. When I clicked on the link, before posting this response, the coupon didn't appear.

There are other good deals on this knife and a google search might reveal these. This is a good knife from a reputable company, who also offer a lifetime warranty.

Thanks. However there are some other things that are a more pressing need at this time and I think that my TOPS Overlander can still handle my redneckian ways

Pass, it's my first Marttiini.      Was thinking of siliconing around the guard.

Off topic, but I like the bag.
I have a similar bag in black. With way to much "possibles" in it...

Since I live in Michigan, seems about time I get a Bark River knife. Got a Woodland S35VN  on the way from DLT Trading (the older Woodland model style, which is on closeout):
