Day 16

Since we were last on the butt subject, I pulled out my good old Estwing and filed down all the sharp corners of its butt.

I bet it's smooth as a baby, now, comis  ;)

Day: 15

A quiet day for Lyndaxe....

(Image removed from quote.)

So we are halfway through the challenge and I find I'm a bit surprised that I'm not missing a pocket knife at this point. I didn't expect that......
My pocket knives are doing the same thing...just along for the ride!

Day15
1145pm no use today

Did have an Apache fly over me...so here is a fuzzy shot as it was leaving the neighborhood.
I really wish I got my shot when it was right over me because it was super close.
They often follow the freeways so it's not surprising to see military helicopters around here, but it's always interesting
Nice shot...love the helicopters! Especially the Hueys  :dd:

It is!  :D

I was gonna post one next to my little guy's butt...but that would make this thread R-rated, and Mrs probably gonna cast me out on the couch for that.

They do!  It is pretty amazing for its price, nearly indestructible too.

I considered doing it before and probably paid for it but I didn't think it was going to cause me any issues

Had a similar problem today trying to get a new handle on a big axe, it was a fight and i couldn't understand why, till i looked down the eye..

Crap picture but there's a thick ridge of steel on the right stopping the handle, the only explanation i have is it has been welded at some point with the handle on and the weld has bled through the wood then it's all rotted out  :dunno:  i don't have a grinder that small so back to the end of the queue with that one till i can be arsed filing it

Day 13  Big Butt for Fuzzy, may get reduction surgery in the future, undecided for now  :tu:

Fuzzaxe Day 16

Not much happening today axe wise I'm afraid, but without the haft I feel the urge to use it as some kind of woodworking tool. I might have a wee bit of an experiment tomorrow...

day 16: went old school today

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Could have come from the forging process. Looks to be at the narrowest point. A chainsaw file should get in there without any issues
