Day 8

What's happening here?  My last reply last night was on page 49, and in less than 24 hours, now we are now on page 55!  Just frantically trying up catch up with all the good posts, while enjoying a cup of coffee here with my GEC toothpick.

Congress has a plan. The day they do something right, they'll tell us about the Alien invasion.

Day 8
Having some tortilla chips, cheese dip, and beer for a snack.  The Girl Scout knife opened the chips and beer.

I was noticing that yesterday evening. Your first for day 7 to start things off was on page 48 post 1424. This has been a fast moving challenge.  Its hard for this old fat man to keep up.    :D

The early morning gathering! Lots to like in that pic!     :like:   I liked and carried knives in the 4" range for years. But since carrying the 66 I grown quite pleased with it's more easy size.     :tu:

Those toothpicks came out really nicely. It's not a very popular pattern, a bit too subjective aesthetically (I like them!) but they nailed it.

Day 8 - Changed my carry to an old tool I bought when I was 9 yrs old.
This trapper was my 1st pocket knife I bought because it was slimmer than my Cub Scout knife.

This is 56 and was used for skinning my rabbits each hunting season.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I, too, have been giving that GEC Toothpick the green envy eye.   It has some cool, old cowpoke style and a nice blade shape.

@comis:  gives us a little feedback or review on that dental tool, if you would, sir.  :hatsoff:
