Day 11

I think it was David posting his boy's knife the other day, here's mine. :D   I quite like the lanyard on this knife, it's cute.

Nice use!  Maybe it's just me, but I find it difficult to have perfect control of a non-serrated blade not to 'skid' off the material when push cutting it with force.  I end up using 'chest cut' whenever trying opening clam package to exercise control.
The Sodbuster jr cuts very well so didn't have to use much force, and it's much easier to just make a hole and follow the outer edge of the package I don't think i have tried opening that type of packaging with a serrated blade, so now I have to try that sometime

Day 11:

Got out the SS Case Trapper. It was showing a good deal of pocket markings, so it got a little buffing for the next couple of days.

Before buffing.

After buffing, and ready for carry.

It is pretty nice getting the traditionals out, cleaning them, and using them! :)

Day: 10

No uses to day, but I will say that for a good-sized knife the Sodbuster is pretty easy to carry. Light weight and nicely contoured.

The Craftsman from the GAW arrived today.  Thanks, Steve.

It will definitely see some pocket time this challenge, especially considering its nice small size.(Image removed from quote.)

Day 10: Wenger Wednesday and Wood Handled Wednesday were covered, and I didn't even need to prepare or change much. The el-cheapo had been on my keys for about a week, I laid out the Swiss Sportsman as this week's SAK carry, and the 2016 110 had been my main 110 this week as well.  Did see my local Lowe's is now selling the new ebony 110s with a leather sheath for under $40. May pick up some extra work around the farm, and pick one up before the end of the month.

40 sounds like a great deal  :tu:

Did a much needed small modification to the Case Stockman.

That was definitely a concern, but checking every now and then during filing helped.  :ahhh

Day 10

Not going to lie, I'm missing the SAK, it's been a long time since I've carried just a blade, it's doable but not ideal anymore
Today I used the smaller blade to open the mail

Missing mine too!

Good pic of Huckleberry.   :tu:     :like:  I have one with the chain also I was thinking of digging it out. Lot of whining about the chain when these came out. I havent found the chain to limit my ability to use the knife. The history of these knives is so cool. I'm pleased to have a modern version in my collection.    :D    More info on boys knives

Carrying the tiny folder for today
But I found a small ring that I fitted to it today
With the use of the Supertool so that
it now fits on my necklace properly
