I was suppose to find out who you were 'on arrival'.
And asking around has gotten me nowhere.
So I'm going public with this one.
To the kind person who parted with their cash and had this package sent to us...

I have really enjoyed owning a g-shock.
Maybe a little too much.
For some time my kids have been drooling over mine and asking for one of their own.
And now they have them.

They just can't stop smiling.

Yeah who could blame them.
These watches are super cool.





Thankfully I didn't have to hand over all the goodies.
There was another watch in the parcel for me.
Check out the 24 numbers and the super night light!



It's been a wonderful surprise.

Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a 'folding hunter' knife that isn't a Buck 110 for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the 110 knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. I have the same Timex and treat it like smurf; except for a damaged crystal (I think it may have been diesel splashed on it); it's going strong. I prefer analogs because they're idiot-proof to use. Versus the Armitron it replaced that 5 years after that watch was bought, I had to use the manual to set it.  Granddad wore a silver Timex in the mines, and it still looked like new 30 years later.  And I love Indiglo. I've used it as a flashlight to find keyholes and the like when I didn't have a light on me.   I'm sending it off to Timex eventually to get the crystal replaced. And eventually, I'm putting an OD green NATO band (unless Timex would put the one that comes on the Weekender on it for me) on it to replicate the old military-issue watches (which the Timex was the closest I could find--I wanted an actual military watch but wasn't spending $200). The original suede one got just plain nasty after the first year, and I put a Velcro off the Armitron on it. It works great, but looks ugly.  So, that's the only negative I can say about that watch.
