Day 18: Used the hook!  I'm a big fan of the lowly hook.  I've used it to carry plastic grocery bags, lace boots, and pull these pesky pull tabs.  My wife used my Climber's hook to crochet one evening!
I then used the Philips Head to remove the side panel on our pellet stove so I could clean it.  As much as I don't really want to think about it, cooler weather isn't really that far away.

:like:  Crochet too?  That's a cool use indeed, you should have given her an Explorer and ask her to join us next time. :D

Day: 18

Small blade back in action today. Here getting my afternoon underway:

(Image removed from quote.)

Cool!  Did you like your Chinese tea?

Day 17:

No pics. No use. Sorry. Was either in bed or bathroom with dry heaves. Very sick yesterday.

Day 18:

Feeling a bit better today. Not sick but my lower back still destroying me. Can barely move.

Did decide to fix a quick lunch for me and my 21 yr old boy.

Fried up sausage and added a few Mac n Cheese kits with extra cheese stuff, for a yummy lunch...

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hope you'd get well soon!

Zrxoa1. Hope your feeling better soon.

Day 18
For me the day was a bunch of yard work that I didn’t need the Explorer for, but did open some ice cream when I came in to cool down.
(Image removed from quote.)

I notice a high correlation between ice cream and your explorer...looks good, now I want one!

What is Dim Sum it looks good?
Dim Sum, literally means 'heart pointing'(hearty food), is a genre of Southern Chinese food which mainly consists of steamed small bites of food(kinda like tapas in Spain).  The beauty of this is you get to eat/try many variations of dishes, while sharing everything between family and friends.  In picture, from bottom to top, we got steamed shrimp dumping, vegetable dumping and pork/shrimp dumping; top left, fried shrimp roll. :D

Zrxoa1 keep getting rest hope to see you back on your feet and active again soon.

DAY 18
kick'n back with the new edition of my RV magazine.
It's good to keep some old scales around just in case.
The original scales started to come off so even though this one was chipped on one end it keeps my Explorer cloathed until I can get it a new outfit.
(Image removed from quote.)

Now to decide which suit to order, of course it will have to be a +,
(Image removed from quote.)
but which one?

Day18

Today we got out of the house and drove to the coast and had lunch at the Santa Cruz Warf. I trimmed my fingernails and nose hair maintenance with Explorer.
Nice uses.  Personally that's probably one of my favorite use of the Vic scissors, but I never did tell my wife about the trimming use of the scissors. :D

I love Oolong tea. I love black teas, too. Green tea is OK, but I prefer the balance of Oolong.  :tu:

Great posts!

Day 19 - Monday at work so the Explorer is on desk duty. Over the weekend I used the Explorer to cut weed trimmer line, open mail, cut food and cut some small errant shrubbery  twigs. Also finally used the magnifying glass to read some fine print in a picture in the local newspaper.

So far this month I've used the main blade, small blade, scissors, inline philips screwdriver, can opener (to separate lego blocks) and large screwdriver, magnifying glass, awl, corkscrew and parcel hook . Also added a new leather lanyard. It's interesting insight on my personal use of the knife and it's tools might help me define my optimal SAK.

That's cool!  If you have a chance, please do give it a try on the Pu' Er tea too.  Like wine, it taste better and cost more when it is well fermented and aged.

I love ice cream and will eat it any time of year and multiple times a week.

The Ben & Jerry slices are too good, like a Klondike bar with Ben & Jerry ice cream in it.

I would upload a picture of a sausage but I've done nothing at all with my Explorer. So not a sausage today I'm afraid. So here's a table top instead

Ahhhh.....I have tried Pu'er (Puerh) tea! The name has positive associations, but I don't recall a specific flavor. Sadly, I haven't had that for a long time. Perhaps I'll give it another try.   :tu:

Day: 19

Went for a good hike in the mountains today. Just what the doctor ordered!  :tu:

No uses for the Explorer, but it was a nice companion to have along. The Explorer is definitely a SAK I could (and have) EDC, but for woods walks, I think I'd have liked to have a saw along.

Day 19

The corkscrew helped loosen a very stubborn and tight knot, also cut up a pear for an evening snack.

Day 19. I used the hook to carry a gallon paint bucket with water in it (I learned today from my folks that pouring water in the soil surrounding a stuck post helps loosen it up; saves me from dragging around a Hi-Lift jack and chain), and the blades for quite a bit of cutting.
