Day 1 bonus action shot

True to the owner's word, the PST was put to work.

PST: "Stop it! STOP IT! I'm scared of heights!"
Owner: "Oh come on you lazy git! It's just the ceiling fan, for smurf's sake!"
:tu:

 :sa: :sa:
Day 1
As I never EDC'd my PST yet it's pouch was stiff and dry from laying around un-used for 22 years.
So first thing today I gave it a good treatment with some Balistol.

Later on the PST helped me getting access to the pipes of the windscreen washer of our car which wasn't working.

We've got this new (used) car 2 month ago.
The former owner somehow lost the lid of the washer-liquit container wich I replace straight away. So I figured some dirt may have gotten into the washer-liquit container due to that and plugged-up the nozzles.
So I've unplugged the pipe and let it pump out into a container... and look what it spit out
They barely fit through the pipe.
:sa: yep, that would stop it from working for sure!

Day 1

I'm starting off with my original and first Leatherman purchased new back in 1995. I carried it every day for work for 20 years. It was pretty tired from use so I gave it a bit of a rehab last year.

Postman braved the ice and cold to deliver some much needed tea this morning. PST awl made short work of the packaging.

Good fix, McStitchy. In a shop they'd charge a ton of money for stuff like that and end up replacing the whole washer unit.

:iagree:

True, alas. Which is why multitools deserve more attention. Not only because you can save real money, but also, why should you throw away perfectly functional machinery and add to the garbage tip just because of some dirt?  :dunno:

Spot on mate  :tu:

Day 1/30

Went on a small hike with GF and daughter.
Not the best weather but still better than staying at home.

Took my PST2 with me, cutting stuff for a small snack on the trail. Wanted to whittle an Atlatl, but the half serrated blade is...well...not the best for that.
Had to carry on with the small neck knife that I found in my backpack.
(and sorry for the crappy pic..only phone in pocket...)

Nice job!  My son whittled his own Atlatls too.  Any day outside is a great day!

Will be the first time for me to actually EDC a PST.
Recently I've found myself appreciating the old style Leathermans over the newer ones... completing a full loop back (started with a Supertool in 1995)  :dunno:

I think PST really does have its appeal--I love its slender build and simple appearance.  Back then I have grown so accustomed to its look that it took me years to eventually transition to Wave/Charge.

It is a double sided diamond sharpening plate  I carry one in my phone case always for keeping blades sharp out and about :tu:
