X-iled, you are a genius, Sir!!! You amazed me with  your first MUT, and here you are again this time with the perfect one. LTG should be buying it from you and make it a production model!!!!
Great ideas and excellent craftsmanship.

updates!!!

did quite a bit of changes to the tool but decided to post now since i think this should be the right direction its heading.
sending it for welding soon and i have basically added a centerdrive arm, you can see another bit holder there .. that was initially planned to be the main driver.. after adding the centerdrive arm, this got relegated to be a bit holder as its primary function lol.

added in a sog V hook for opening packages and the additional chrome panel i hope to be able to store replacement blades in it. keeping fingers crossed everything works out!!

I love that you put the ratcheting 1/4 inch bit driver on the end.  I think more tools should have those.
 :tu:

I see that you put the centerdrive bit driver on one side.  Why did you decide to put the silver bit driver on the other side?

in the initial draft, i didnt have the center drive arm included. The bit holder was supposed to be the main driver. I had fitted a sliding craft blade on the current location of the centerdrive arm. But it felt weird and i let it sit there until i decided to do this lol. So now the sliver bit driver functions as a bit holder. Im keeping it in cuz the space there isnt alot after the shears are closed and this fully uses up the space there.

and its back from welding!!! beautiful job again by the welder.

look at that.... dammit...

SOG Vhook welded onto the MUT pin pusher

and this is where im intending to store the replacement blades. need to think of an elegant way to cap this so that the blades stay in place and the protrusions dont cause any hotspots. Currently the space is big enough to hold 5 blades.

Did more stuffs to the MUT and its one of the crucial parts that solidify the final shape of the tool. Spine prybar and i also made the cover for the blade storage. Need to think of a way to keep the storage cover closed.

added reinforcement to the prybar so that the ratchet is braced.
