Day 2

Used the Spirit to install a surge protector over a wall socket.  Needed the small slot driver to remove the original screw and then the phillips to install the new recessed longer screw.
(Image removed from quote.)

Wow, this is one classy looking surge protector!

Day 3
Birds are pecking through the screen covers over my soffits and getting into my roof, so I am replacing the screen covers with 4 inch squares of chicken wire wrapped in screen repair tape. They may peck through the screen again but they won't get through the chicken wire.

March 04:

Early start for the Swisstool.

In addition to opening an essential package of tea this morning. The pliers were used to crush up Adventure Boy's medication. (Adventure Boy is recovering from a dental procedure and isn't allowed to chew anything for a few days.)

Day 3 - At work I had a gasket assembly that  separated and I found chisel tool very useful for removing pieces from the top cover.  Was planning to take picture when I was interrupted by the boss with an urgent issue.

A couple hours later, I reached  for my Spirit and it WAS NOT in the sheath, I lost it! Checked all pockets, patted down my shirt, pant legs, it was GONE! :((

A bit later, still looking on all floors, counter tops, areas I had been, I returned to the pool pump room. On the acid tank, in all of its beauty was my Spirit. Reached for my phone to take a picture, and guess what, it was not on my belt! :dunno:

I left it at home.

So here the moment recreated-
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Swiss Fuzz Day 3

Used the scissors to cut some gel filters and the knife blade to cut heat resistant tape - visually it was stunning, but unfortunately I neglected to take some pics... So with the help of this glass of milk you'll just have to use your imagination...

DAY THREE

Used the SwissTool to rewire a solenoid and button switch on a Kubota. Switched to a standard leather sheath , ditched the kit for the day. Much lighter on the hip.
Main blade worked excellent in stripping the wire back. Used the pliers to crimp the bunt connectors right up.   :like:

Hi, all.

I read about the stiffness problem for Leatherman Free P2/P4 after users using the pliers to cut nail, and some user did report the same issue may exist for other LM models.  Meanwhile, in the same thread, users also mentioned the problem don't exist in Vic tools.

P4 stiffness issue thread:
https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,84134.0.html

Since we are all at the beginning of the challenge, may I suggest to keep an eye out to see whether Spirit/Swisstool may suffer the same issue?  I really rarely do have need to use the pliers to cut anything, but would love to learn from anyone who does.

Day 3

Spirit cut down some boxes and opened some snacks.  It also helped open some mail that held supplies for the next paracord project and then helped initial cutting and splicing to start project.

Both 2.2 and 2.5mm brass rod?  No binding, right?

Day 4

The little one had been eyeing my shiny toy on table, and finally putting his chubby hand on it to play.

...and later on I opened my wife's favorite brand of Japanese chocolate, and she just rolled her eyes on me...she knew I wasn't doing it for her, more like for the challenge. :D
