Cool and dreary outside is not helping that my vacation is over and I have to return to work in the morning.
Just had some more tag removal duty today and I must say some times the Swisstool is just OVERKILL!
Better OVERKILL than no tool though.  :ahhh

Day 14
I got home earlier tonight than last night, but still late enough that it was already dark out. I decided to use my Swiss Tool to clip a rose on my way in.

Day 14

Quiet Sunday with not much use for the Spirit.  The small driver does work perfectly for refilling and adjusting flame on my Zippo butane inserts.

Day 15

Mrs. wanted a bowl of soup as afternoon snack, Swisstool gladly take up the job to cut open the soup packet and get some brownie points for it.

Day 15

Thought I’d give the “butter knife” on the Spirit a chance to show its form with veg prep this evening - made short work of these beans:

 :hatsoff:  Day 15 -
At the Y, was removing old style Hand Sanitizer Wall Dispenser with a new style Foam unit.

Tried removing old unit’s double sided tape with the Spirit’s Chisel, unfortunately it was not right tool. 1st the cutting edge is not same edge as the handle so I could get it flat the wall, 2nd it was just to short.

So had to use my small pry-bar.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Half way through the challenge, but France started to take real action : full State lock-down.

So, here is a pic of the Spirit not in use : never spicy enough !

Are we really half way already?  You guys are AMAZING!!
Well I decided to mark the event with the first eddition of the Swisstool the 1997.
Still solid as a rock and works just as good as any of my latest editions.  :woohoo:
Replaced a thermocouple, cleand a pilot orfice and adjusted the pilot valve on a flat top grill today but only managed a pic of staple pulling duty.

Day 15
Some minor Spirit use to include opening a dog treat, but no picture of that because the blade bit me and decided to clean-up before popping open a beer.

Day 16 - I have been sorting batteries in nice sortiment boxes so that they don't short out while waiting to be used or when they are used but I thought about these button batteries and then I remembered that we hade some foam left from another project my wife did. Used the knife to cut to right size and then the scissor to cut slots for the batteries

Forgot to take pics of me making the slots but this is the results

Nice idea, I usually just keep it in its original package so I know they are new.

Was it from closing?  Or from using tool from left hand?

Same here, the foam are for the used ones and the used batteries are in a smaller sorting box to I have to remember recycling them

Kottskrappa - great idea for battery storage, More nice pics and uses!

Day 16

Used the Spirit’s chisel to slice the tape on a just delivered post item - contents came from Germany, a harvester se. I like the dove etched onto the blade, but not so sure about the scales with peace in various languages on them- might remove the blade for a future mod, but not sure for now.
