I messaged them on Facebook asking about the whole ''Not available for shipping outside of the US." thing. They said no problem shipping it to Australia. So I now have one on the way.

Thank you!  My first Victorinox MT, but like 160th Victorinox!
My Mods: 58mm Workshop, 91mm Picnicker, CyberCompact
Some Fav's: long nail file models, vintage unusual stainless
Quirk: I like the metal file more than the wood saw

Needed one like I needed a hole in the head, but the standard SwissTool is just too darn heavy. Came to this decision when I got my Rebar. I now rarely carry my ST300, but it's there when I need a heavier tool.  Heck, I even carry a Squirt P4 most of the time anyway.

And this is the butter blade "XC" variant, EXACTLY what I wanted. I know this model was discontinued for 2020, but I swore it was retired years before.  I normally carry a standard folder, but have to have a sheepsfoot/rescue blade as a part of my EDC; you know "Be Prepared".

Yes a good deal - love that butter blade - less thrilled with the scissors. If I was in the US I'd probably get one just in case my other two Spirits were kidnapped by aliens or something.

Victorinox serrations are so great, I've even been buying their kitchen knife line. Cheap, but better quality than Rada (I don't like their short tangs), at a similar price. Almost as good as Cutco and Henckels, but at a fraction of the price. I have a paring knife that I bought for my grandmother, and that's her go-to knife. I'm buying about half a dozen to serve as steak knives.

:iagree: The paring knives are superb Cody, I use them daily and particularly like the Swiss Classic locking folder

That is a great deal.  I already have one I bought used, but it is tempting because I love it so much.

What will the total cost be with taxes and shipping in e.g. NZ?

Picked one up myself. Thank you. First pliers-based MT. Finding it delivers the usual Victorinox quality.

You would have to contact them.  Their website says not available for shipping outside US, but if you contact them, sometimes they are willing.

:salute:   I understood that, just hoping that someone that had already ordered it from outside the US would have a total cost idea. Sometimes, with taxes and shipping it ends up being similar to buying locally
