Used the package (can) opener on the Bond today. Made short work of the plastic.

The Pulse has the better stock toolset, so I would go with it but the Bond does have an awl and a few improvements that really appeal to me as well  :D

So, I have both :woohoo: and also my Bond has the same diamond file installed in it as the Pulse ;)

I am actually not even sure how long ago I took that pic  :dunno:

Just because I post pics now doesn't mean that they were taken recently

I take Challenge pics and post those daily but I take pics of multitools all the time and have a very large back log of pics on my phone that I use for Instagram and always repost them over here as well ;)

Hi everyone. Been lurking for a long while. This thread is amazing. I got a Bond and never used it but this thread has really made me change my mind. I bought a bunch of parts, but I must be all thumbs. I can't get the rebar plier head to fit onto the Bond! I got it all disassembled but there appears to be a tad bit of misalignment that no amount of jiggling can get the pin in place. Any tips? Do I need to make the hole larger in the pliers? Thanks!

Welcome to :MTO:

It will fit but it is pretty hard to get lined up due to the way the ramps are on the plier head :ahhh Try lining it up with one of the handles closed and it will relieve a bit of the tension that the ramps cause  if thatbworks then trybit on thebother side :salute: Good luck :tu: I remember the first  couple Rebar heads I put back into a Rebar frame was very difficult  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Hi! Thanks for the welcome! Been trying everything. Tried kind of angling the handles as I keep pushing pressure on the female bolt to go in. But nothing! I admit, I even may have tried a rubber mallet. The good news is, I can't get the original plier heads in either haha so I know its user error. I just can't get it to go for some reason. Argh!

Hello and, welcome pointman.
Try again (what Poncho said) having the pliers head inside the handle as if it was "closed" and, using a #0 or #1 phillips ( or a large nail, or a drift, or something that its point tapers)  wiggle it in and use as a drift/guide for the female end of the pivot screw. Hope it helps.  :tu:

Great Bond theme you have going on there, Crunchie! I can’t quite match it, since I have neither a Bond nor a Seamaster, but Bond day AND 60th anniversary of Dr. No, that simply can’t go unnoticed.

LM SideClip is the best I can do. UK legal and I would think it shares a gene or two with the Bond.
My only watch from a UK Watch brand, and a diver watch to boot… close enough  :dunno:
And my good ol’ PPK
