Buck 503

This is probably a boring knife for this group, but I am pretty excited about it. I used to carry a Buck 505 when I was in the military, and after I broke the tip off I carried a 503 just like this one. I lost it a long time ago, so it feels great to have one again.
(I recently found the broken 505 in a box of my old stuff, and I sent it to Buck to see if they can replace the blade. Crossing my fingers.)

Whats not to like?
A great design, clean lines, very good steel with great heat treat. All backed up by a very righteous family ownership with a great warrantee. Boring is a good thing sometimes in a market flooded with over hyped, over priced, tactical wonders that don't open a box any better than a 'boring' knife.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.
