DAY 27A slow day at work delivering training to some newbies so no uses there A bottle (or two) of apple juice when I got home to make all right with the world again
I think that a MT is a compromise cable cutter. They will do it quite easily, but the size of the cutting surface is way to small for these cables. But to me, this is the idea of a challenge. See what works and what doesn't, get the correct tool for the job then. Which LM do you prefer for cable cutting?Pete
Oh, so we’re colleagues? I deliver trainings as well
Seemingly so, although I'm what's known as an Operational Training Officer (OTO) This means I help them apply the practical aspect after the classroom part is done Basically, mine is less qualified work
DAY 28So, Mrs Surge and I are off to an evening wedding. It's been a busy day with hair, nails and make-up (but I'm nearly ready now) Here's the Spirit with some of the obligatory confetti It's going to be a long evening
all the shares that I have reviewed so far. Really don't mean to catch your challenge But, , yes I did!Wanted share my latest Swiss tool Spirit, about two years ago I finally made the call to acquire Spirit, and selected the Butter Blade version as the Vic sweater blades are serious cutters. Unfortunately due to life altering events in 2021 I forgot about my Spirit until I found it in my multi tool bin a few weeks ago. What a piece of art! Then decided to look at current models and prices, found a new one with the tradition spear blade for under a $100, and also learned about the one handed variants. Decided to stay on course and placed order for a pointy blade model. Here are pictures of my pairs of Swiss tool Spirits [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] PS: GREAT CHALLENGE AND LOVE THE BEAUTY OF YOUR PHOTOS.
Day 28Hope it’ll upload this time (Image removed from quote.)
As long as you've got your Party Teeth in Surge you'll be fine as you are Day 28/31 and I used the Phillips screwdriver to tighten a loose gate hinge in the garden. I didn't have my phone with me to take a pic so you'll have to settle for the inside of an old barrel which I aim to use as an oversized pellet trap for a bit of air riflery
Day 28Opened a package that contained a spare Victorinox scissor spring 37FF0D9B-45D8-48FA-AD77-6EE90A9C14A4 by Duncan Moore, on Flickr
Day 28Here is the Spirit with the rest of my edc while out for a dog walk. (Image removed from quote.)After we came home I needed to remove lots of prickly stuff from dog legs. Used the wood saw to clean the brush after.(Image removed from quote.)
Powernoodle Day 28Kitty hairball removal. Geriatric kitties don't have the flexibility to properly self-groom, and hairballs can become a major issue.
Hope you are doing well LoopCutter and thanks for sharing your Spirits with us. I'm a big butter blade fan too!
Nice kit sir and I tried that saw trick on our dog brushes... thanks for the tip!
Looking great Phil! What air rifles do you have?
