Alright, I think I've made everyone wait long enough, and I've had enough time to contemplate my choices.  So, without further ado, I present to you (drum roll) our selections!!!

First up is for my brother-in-law.  He was considering getting a multi-tool to carry in his truck.  I figured this nice little Gerber would fit the bill after a little cleaning, oiling, and sharpening.



Next up are my son's selections.  He thinks this GAW box is an awesome idea.  I'm trying to instill in him the idea of giving and paying it forward.



Last, and definitely least, are my selections.

* The SAK-A-Like on the left, with the wood scales, looks like a cool little project where I can practice tearing it apart, cleaning it, shining it up, etc, before I try on a larger SAK.
* The pocket knife in the middle will make a good donor to fix my wife's grandfather's knife.
* The Nextool had caught my eye since the last time I had the GAW box.  Don't know why but it just keeps grabbing my attention.
* I've been considering a small fixed blade and the SOG fits the bill.  I carried it all day today at my back on my belt.  Didn't bother me sitting down as I was afraid it would.
* Gotta have an awesome SAK keychain to go with that awesome Minichamp.
* I've been contemplating picking up a small pry bar and this Keysmart will help me decide if a pry bar is for me.
* Lastly, I figured I needed that cool green lanyard for a SAK project I've had in mind for a while



I thought that maybe I was pulling too much out of the GAW box, however, I still had to play Tetris to get it to all fit in there.  The box is still pretty darn heavy too.

I can't guarantee that I'll get the box out to Poncho this week, as we're getting read for my sister-in-law's wedding this weekend, but I can definitely get it out by early next week.

Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days.  Post a pic for Halloween of your pumpkin (or turnip or gourd or whatever you traditionally carve for Halloween!) being carved by any SAK, multitool, pocket or woods knife you may own!  Only available once a year Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Delemont SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. I like all of these selections.  The early Gerber MP (Mr. Pinchy) is still one of my all-time favorite multitools as I carried one for about 10 years.  Mr. Pinchy has earned the nickname, though, so please warn your brother-in-law that he will get bit at some point.

The makers marks are unfortunately long gone.  Looks like they may have been filed/sanded off when they were trying to sharpen it.





It's probably best I don't know so that I don't feel bad about taking this one apart.  It'll be my first time taking this type of knife apart.  I'll take plenty of pics so we can all see how bad I do.   :rofl:

   I was in the post office this morning and it was pretty busy.  Personally, I would be antsy about shipping anything until after Christmas.  Too many chances for things to go missing or get smashed.  According to the clerk, 12-19 is the final date for guaranteed before Christmas delivery of Priority Boxes.  Best wishes.  G

Oh, sorry about that.  Forgot to update y'all.

I was able to get the post office on Friday by 4pm.  The package is still in transit.  The jackalope got held up by traffic and crazy weather patterns.  Looks like it "should" get to Poncho by Thursday afternoon.  Provided it doesn't run into a herd of carrots crossing the interstate.  All hope is lost if that happens.
