Yeah, when I click on the link in the email I don't see anything about a #006.  That's cool, though, as the bloom has somewhat fallen off the tree for me on this Garage stuff.  I was totally into the Mr. Crunch and Darkside, though.  #003 and beyond, not so much.

But if the #006 Harvest is groovy, I'll still try to get one - whatever it is.   :tu:

It kind of looks like it might be a fixed blade.

Maybe it’s a folding scythe. It could have inside tools like a saw and pruner blade.  8)

There releases are always to close together and then nothing for months

If it is plier based I might be interested but if it is just a knife maybe not  I feel similar to powernoodle about the Garage :salute:

I do like the #5 but they shouldn't have made the Anniversary tool so limited

We had talked about a tool.named Harvest somewhere before and if it is a pruner type tool then that also may interest me

Guess we will see in a couple days

I think that you and I both liked and purchased 001 and 002, then skipped 003 and 004.  We both tried for 005, which you got and I did not.  That initially put a crybaby attitude on me but I got over it.

Even though this whole Garage process has been overtaken by eBay flippers, its still sorta fun as long as you remember that its not life and death.

What Leatherman "should" do is offer these exclusively to MTO members with over 100 posts, and then any remaining to the general public.  I'll talk to Tim Leatherman about that the next time I'm on his yacht.

Am guessing it may be a Gardening/Hunter Clippers like the vintage Vista was. From what little information came in the email, I was like, Meh.  :twak:

Though this is clearly speculative, if it is anything like the Vista, my pulse rate and bloop pressure will be lower on the appointed morning because I won't be desperate to get one.  Which really is not a bad thing.

According to a leak this is a pruning tool with a saw.

Is my memory playing tricks on me, or do we usually know exactly what we’re going to get by this point, either through an official release or a leak of the exact photos that will be used on the website?

All I’ve seen so far besides the teaser image is a technical drawing (similar to the Genus but with a large folding saw) that half the people swear is the Harvest, and the other half are certain is not.

Anybody got a secret they want to share?

Yeah, I’ve seen that now.

I’m not very interested in a fixed blade, to be honest, so saved myself the stress tomorrow.

The question now is when do we get the gardening tool, and will it be a full production model.

I actually started carrying a Leatherman for gardening. There are lots of footpaths around where I live with overgrown nettles etc, and I often use the pliers to snap/twist/remove them out the way. So a tool with secateurs would be a fantastic edition.

Have you seen the ones they used to make?

The Hybrid was a perfect gardening / dog walking tool, but long since discontinued and crazy prices now.

It looks like the leak was wrong. It is a fixed blade.

The link may be deceased.  I think Timmy sent his henchmen to thedrive.com and snipped their interweb cable.

I'm cool with a fixed blade, if that's what it is.  Not that I can get one, and not that I would use it if I did.   :tu:

Leatherman's previous fixed blades all had multitool-like features (bone saw and gut hook).  This one is just a knife?  That's dumb... I hope I am able to get one

Well, it will be a pass for me if that is what it is

I like a good fixed blade but rarely ever carry or use one, plus it doesn't really look all that interesting either :dunno: :D

Kinda glad I don't love it, that waybI can spend my money on something else shiny that I like better

That may not even be the right tool.  In fact, I'm betting against it.

This is all supposition - which is all we can do until Leatherman tells us what's going on.
