I was not familiar with the Lamy 4 color pen.  Very interesting.

@Heywood Floyd: That is a dapper wallet you made. I like the looks in black with contrasting elastic band.
You take such perfect photos, my photos look so Vivitar 110.
 :like:
Thanks variable. I'm flattered.
My wallet design, which can adapt automatically to carry few or many cards along with readily available cash access, has evolved over some years. It's now functioning really well so any neat looks are a bonus.
Well, I sort of use some Vivitar 110 techniques in that for the most part my pics are just point and shoot mobile phone camera shots.
It's likely more ass than class is responsible for decent pics.

Hey AC, the Lamy 4 color pen is from the Lamy 2000 series which they have been making for quite a while (1966 - lol I looked it up :-)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamy#2000
https://www.lamy.com/en/multisystem-pens/
I've been using Lamy 2000 series pens for many years. All of them ie FP PCL RB & Multi. All in their famed polycarbonate Macrolon material. It has not been all beer and skittles. After some years the Macrolon can shrink and split. Of the three 4 color multisystem pens in my inventory two have slight barrel splits. Although they work fine it would be preferable without that material fault. I've also had a FP section crack at the thread and two mutlisystem pen sections break clean off after a modest fall (<3ft onto a wooden desk). Superglued them back but hey Lamy 2000 pens are not an economy purchase pick so higher performance expectation is not unreasonable.
Overall do I like L2000 writing instruments? Sure and they get used regularly. Is Lamy's touting the Macrolon material overhype? IMHO yep 4sure.
Here's a precise example of my experience. Not me, just some Jon Doe.

Oh wow!  I'd definitely expect more from Lamy.  That's a shame though because it is a beautiful pen.

I am so rough on my stuff in general that I've asked my wife not to get me expensive FPs even though I do enjoy them.  The wife did buy me a  very nice Jean-Pierre Lepine made with ebony wood when we went to New Orleans for our anniversary but that's a desk FP only as I'm afraid of EDCing it and accidentally dropping it.

Very neat and effective looking setup chip. Thanks for sharing.
Is that a Fischer space pen with a golden coloured patina?

Nice setup Heywood. Would you share your wallet design? If so do you have a DXF file of the design?

It is a Zippo Time Tank Pocket Clock, even has a backlight when you press the left button but this does not have an alarm.

No argument from me.
So much persistent slicing power for such lite weight.
Nicely ergonomic to use too.

Thank you Nate, I missed variables post.
Yes it is a U1,  I see a lot of reviews where people who bought it complain that it is overpriced. But I don’t know what there issue is they knew exactly what it looked like before the bought it and mine anyway arrived exactly as advertised absolutely faultless with a very capable blade. Mine being an older model is in 3G, I believe the current version comes in elmax.

I keep trying to replace it with something prettier but  when push comes to shove I more often than not put this in my pocket because if I ever found myself needing to rely on any of my uk legal knives this is the one I have the most confidence in.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.
