Case Wharncliffe mini trapper.   If I could only keep on Case knife this is one that would definitely be on the shortlist.

Day 11: From a First World War mess kit that belonged to my wife's grandfather.  He wasn't a veteran, but picked it up for camping.  1917 vintage Rock Island Arsenal and still wicked sharp.

Interesting find

STELLAR Japan is the tang stamp.

One utensil missing, a short saw blade.
My brother gifted to me for clean up. Said he found at a thrift shop.

Since Scout knife is feature thought a hobo knife may create interest. 😉

Day 11

GEC 15 Urban Jack today. Started modifying a new Opinel No 8 today. I like to deepen the curve of the handle some and this one might sound weird but using another knife or a flat head screw driver I push a toothpick down the blade well, it lifts the blade up making the blade pinchable

Thank you  :hatsoff:

I must admit, I always enjoy your daily selections and photography skills😉

Your ‘18 and its patina is captured to make it handsome.

The ‘47 is my favorite Stockman pattern, the ‘75 is next and is often my EDC just because of size and utility of the Sheepsfoot  blade.
An ‘18 in Yellow is resting in the drawer, a flea market find and save.

Someday when I grow up, I want to be like GARETH!!!

I'd set your bar a little higher if I were you.  :like:

An old whittler made by Joseph Elliott, and a ganzo homage to the stockman

Day 12

Joseph Elliott made a damn fine knife.  Probably only my Thomas Turner is of similar quality.  Anyway, Elliot penknife of slightly larger proportions than average.
