DAY 30  :nanadance:

Thanks to ReamerPunch, I entered two challenges at once   but I'm glad I did.  I did a lot of bit/socket swapping and found some new combos of tools to use.   :salute:

Day 30:

Seems fitting to end this challenge with yet another pic of my favorite ratchet. The old school Mac 1/4” drive.

Fun challenge everyone

Day 30

No action, family day. Here is a shot of my recent purchase. The Leatherman ratchet, Anex and the Sk11.

I found I like the LM ratchet when it is sufficient and no need for large torque and no special need for clearance.

The SK11 has its place for its clearance.

The Anex looks great but I prefer a handle with LM ratchet. It doesn't hold double ended bits. It's not small carry compared to LM or sk11 either.

This was a great challenge to follow. The variety of ratchets out there is staggering. I saw some I'd add to my toolbox when it's time to upgrade. Thanks to all the participants and ReamerPunch for creating and hosting the challenge!

Another shot that could be described as actual use  :dunno:

Hinge adjustment time in the kitchen (it did need doing and no time like a challlenge  ;))

I have one more to follow tomorrow to make up for a missed day  ::)

Thanks RP.

I have been itching to get a ratchet keychain like the klein milwaukee or wiha. But after the challenge, I think the LM ratchet has already meet my daily needs. And the SK11 for more specific cases.

DAY 22
First of awl a massive shout out to RP for hosting the posting  :salute: :drink: Awlso a big well done to those that took part  :2tu:

To be honest I had very few opportunities to use a ratchet daily (hence most of shots being non-action)  ::)

However, if this had happened in the next few months I would have had plenty of action shots to choose from (house move)  :dunno:

So, here's the catch up post (I think it was Day 22?) so that I can sleep tonight knowing that RP has awarded the badges

Day 31 bonus

Needed a quick fixture to mount something to my bench.
Some scrap wood, a couple screws, couple pilot holes, a quick twist with the brace and we are good to go.

I like doing these simple right angle blocks for mounting clamp on tools like magnifier and "extra hands" so they clamp in the built-in vise. I also have some of my bench mount tools on wood bases that are sized to work with the bench dogs and vise. It's a great way to lock down tools without permanently mounting them.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
