Day 11: Putting the Signal's hammer to use.  My tent pegs were packed away so I used a peg for an outdoor kennel.  It worked well!  I've used a Bear Grylls knife to do this when I was out camping, but the body of the Signal works a lot better, as well as it's length.

An excellent use for the Signal,  Barry  8) :like: :like:

Stopped by to get my DOSE OF EYE CANDY!

Addicted to that AQUA color scheme.

Day 12: Finally made it.  Busy day today for me.  Using the Signal's wonderful blade to whittle a stick.  This blade is definitely heavy duty and Leatherman sharp!  Thanks again for the compliment Gordon!  I love that color combo too!

Just something to break up some ice in the bird feeders .   We have one that's fairly large, but the design lets water and snow lay and freeze.  It won't let any seed out after that.

Day 13: I have a house full of people with the flu, so the Signal and I resorted to the old fashioned remedy, chicken noodle soup.

So sorry to hear that bug has stricken your family members.
With your famous chicken formula they will be feeling nimble!

Stay healthy my friend, considering yesterday you were poking around the bird feed, let’s hope the hands were washed before other food duties, 😜

Oh! That is right bird flu is different than our flu

Take a dose for yourself

Well BARRY, you have snookered me again!  And, this could  be costly.

Last year it was Opinel knifes, one became two, then two became four.   Now you were not wrong and every acquisition was done under my own free will.

I also know you have very good taste, as important person in your life shares same name as the same did in my life.

Then here is this daily flaunting of a Skeletool, with black implements and aqua frame.

Why I was drawn to that combo had me bewildered.  On vacation last week, my eyes kept finding shades or tints of AQUA, some could be TEAL, or BABY BLUE, even Caribbean Blue, and many shades in between.   And, even as tempting the color CORAL was prevalent wondering around as well.

A very prominent member has offered assistance when I found my ailment was stifled when I would almost order. Those had natural steel implements😉

OK, I am under control, then late last night, there on the end table, to my left it is sitting there staring at me…

And then again this afternoon while doing home study on this tool, again,  ugh🥺
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
It fell on the floor and I pick it up and laid on my material.

 :assimilate:

Feeling guilty yet???  Nah, I bet you are laughing!!!

The hunt is on…

PS:  freezing rain started here about an hour ago, heading your direction! :salute:
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Oh no!!  The fever has caught on Gordon!  There's a Leatherman ad that keeps popping up with the same blue but with natural steel color too.  It's almost like it's deliberately put there by Leatherman   Thanks for the compliments my friend.  This color combo caught me too, as you'll see by my picture.  You know the MTO motto!
I think I might know that member.  Said member has helped me out a couple of times too :D.

That rain just arrived.  I'm glad we're all in.

Looks like Gerber is entering into the Signal game!  https://www.gerbergear.com/en-us/shop/multi-tools/all-multi-tools/stake-out-spark-coyote-brown-1070225

I will eagerly wait someone to get hands on this model and compared it to Signal / Skeletool

Me too, Antti, especially at the price it's going for.  It's half the price of the Signal.  That hook looks like it could carry some serious weight!
