Roxon Tool Challenge - April 2026
on: February 23, 2026, 06:10:22 PM

Roxon has come a long way since their humble beginnings with the Storm. We've seen true innovation, excellent designs, comfort, modularity, variety.
Their tools stand out in today's ocean of sameness. So join me this April, for a month of carrying Roxon tools. There's plenty to choose from, and with their modular tools, there really is one for everyone. :D
If you own no Roxon tools, feel free to justify buying one to use in the challenge. ;)

Rules:
- For April, carry a Roxon tool everyday.
- Post a picture of it everyday in this thread.
- You can carry different tools, or stick to one for the whole month.
- Please label your posts as "Day 1, Day 2" etc.

If you are interested, add your name to the list:

1. ReamerPunch
2.
3.

Day 1

Using my Roxon Flex Companion for this challenge.  Pretty excited about it because now I get to put it through it's paces.  Used it to sharpen a pencil this morning, then cut open a new battery for a /Wenger pocket watch.

Day 2

Used the awl to make some holes in the dry wall to hang a picture in my daughter's room.  Her room having pink walls made it hard to take decent photos.

Companion. I've warmed up to it a bit, but I still like the Mini Companion better.

Day 1 and 2 on the Challenge I did only used the Package Opener for some cardboard Box Opening,
Today on Day 3 it was used to Open some Bee Feeding Stuff which works quite well

My Flex Titan wasnt shipped yet  [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

I would've considered picking up the Mini Companion as well if it was available in green.  Guess my wallet got lucky this time.

Day 3

Needed some temporary book markers so I cut up a sheet of paper.

Then I cut up some Calla Lilly bulbs this evening so I could plant them near the front door.

Day 4

A Lego piece had a broken clip on the side so I broke the remnants and used the chisel to clean it up and make it smooth.

Day 5

Roxon S501U. So annoying that I have to search the name on Google every time I want to post a photo of it. Just give it a proper name.

And I saw the Easter bunny.

That's a nice job on that Lego piece.  I see the Easter bunny stopped by.

Day 4 - catch up

Wife bought me a sweet treat that's not as bad for me as everything else.

I was hoping the Easter bunny would bring me a Flex because Santa didn’t… but no such luck!

I’m still on the fence about the Flex so I’m following along to see what you guys all accomplish with them.

RP, how well did the chisel work out on the Lego plastic?  I recently used my Spirit chisel to reshape a couple pieces a dog chewed but they don’t look as nice as what you did.

Day 5

Mostly a relaxing day until the downstairs toilet backed up.     Took a bit but finally got it sorted.

Used the knife to cut open a sack of potatoes.

Then used the scissors to cut some fresh rosemary for the potatoes.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Sunday.

Day 6

Had to release some paper plates from their shackles.

Used the flat head to put a name tag on the doggo's collar.

Looks like your Companion got that gator on the tail end.

Day 7

Had a bit of recycling to do.

Cut off some lettuce leaves this afternoon before transplanting this lonely lettuce in our raised garden.  Some errant seed sprouted over winter and is doing very well right now.  Had to transplant it because I need to turn the soil before planting our garden this year.

Day 8

Used the knife to cut open some medication for my daughter.

Then I used the scissors to cut a strap off of these D-rings.  I'm surprised how well it did.  It didn't cut in one go but I didn't struggle nearly as much as I thought I would.

Day 9

No recorded use today unfortunately as I was just a keyboard warrior.  Wasn't done with work quick enough to get out and get stuff done before the rains came.  I do like that I can pick and choose which implements I'll need for the occasion.

Acutally got a few small things done today.  Started off with package duty.

Then used the awl to remove a staple from a dowel.

On Days 4 to 10, I did used the package Opener and the Comp a few times, but nothing worth of doing pictures, but I have good news for my ROXON Titan: it’s will arrive on Monday or Tuesday ^^
I plan to make it German Knife Law friendly by swapping the One Hand Blade whit this Keytool, and the Flex Tool Part will get changed to the Fold Out Measure Stick, Shissel, Package Opener, File, Comp,
