A few more arrivals.  :salute:

Trailmaster Black

The sheath for this looks really nice.  Any more info on it?  Is this the official issue sheath for the Swiss army?

I bought the Vic nylon holster from eBay.
Perfect fit for this knife and my swisstool as well.

Victorinox Model number: 4.0822.4

Ok, question:  They make a wonderful looking pouch, just like the leather Spirit pouches they make, and they then put velcro on it; what gives?

I just got in a used Compact, my first and I like it! I'm thinking of getting another one, swapping the corkscrew for a phillips, and replacing the pen with modified "jewlers" screwdriver for my glasses. :)

Also enroute is what Jazzbazz has identified as Woodsman, the original one not the Marlboro model by the same name. I might actually have to break down and get a display case for some of my older ones...

1980's vintage Woodsman....like an Explorer with wood saw; or Huntsman with inline Phillips screwdriver and magnafying glass....has no hook, grooved corkscrew, no hole in awl, and bottle opener does not lock half way, so definately early 1980's vintage.

Brand new in package (NOS never opened) Yeoman!  Scored it for a sweet $33 on ebay (the guy didn't put "Yeoman" in the listing name, so it flew under the radar).  Took some pictures of it unopened, then opened it up (since I want to use this knife).  Definitely a nice set of tools in a compact form factor.

The Dual Density Blue/Grey scales look wonderful.  They need to make those more common; same with making yellow ones, too. :pok:

What's the other dual density color that's new for this year?

Just got a Pioneer Apprentice (large blade and sheepsfoot/wire scraper).  It's really stiff to open/close compared with a cellidor 93mm.  Is this normal?

I just got a Champion Plus not too long ago. I absolutely love it. I bought a sheath for it a week ago, and it hasn't left my side since. Damn useful sucker. Enjoy!

Amici,
These two just arrived.. I took the liberty to order the lanyard ahead of time so it would be good to go when my gals custom scaled Hiker arrived and exactly to her Hello Kitty style scale specifications..

As for my S18, I couldn't be happier, the sleek look and the rubber inserts really do this SAK justice.. Ahhh Wenger, what's NOT to love?

Now the quest begins the search for the perfect lanyard to compliment the S18, stay tuned..

I also have two other "suprise guests" arriving sometime this week. Once they do I'll post them also here for all of you..

Cheers,
Serge

Two used Rucksacks and a used Cowboy arrived today.

They are currently going through the cleaning process

The Bantam arrived a few weeks ago.

The Cowboy is also shown with its Alpineer brother.

OK, not Victorinox or Wenger (so they shouldn't really be in the Swiss forum) but I scored these used German “utility knives” recently as a job lot for £6. They are all advertising knives, but for the most part that’s worn off. I think these should clean up quite nicely
