been carrying a kershaw leek for a while now... nice package.

sean... i have the whittling twigs and branches book myself. it is a great guide. i have found birch to be the best twigs for a whittle by far.

another good book is SCANDINAVIAN STYLE WOODCARVING: by Harley Refsal... absolutly awesome... very good illistration and background. there is one particular artist that blows me away.... only one work shown though..... check out THE SEATED MAN by: Emil Janel. the way he cuts wood will make you think.

Sappyg,

Thanks for that book.  Will have to look it up as well as the guy you mentioned.
I really have to find a stand of Birch somewhere.  It's always when your looking for it
that you have troubles.
Did carve out the "Spreader" though and had some fun doing it.  I have to let it dry
now then sand it.

Fixed the edge on my Paraframe to a nice 25 degree angle, and now she cuts like a champ.

Ah you have one of those huh?  I bought one months ago and spent a small fortune for what it is.  I haven't really
gotten around to carrying it.  It's a good one to play with though.   :)

I have indeed and I love it.  :D  More so that it was a gift from my buddy John, and that he slipped it past customs before all the changes in the US were done.  :D

Closest thing to a balisong I will ever own.
